Report from the Council Meeting August 2008

Dates for CCC events 2008-2009 were approved by the Council and have been given to Julie for the Church calendar, posted to Yahoogroups web site and to the CCC web site Calendar.

Minutes from CCC Annual Planning Meeting - July 2008

We met at Joan and Dale's house. In attendance were: Joan, Dale, Maggi, Sylvia, Atalie, Jessie, Sarah, and Arline.

Agenda Items

On Saturday, August 16th, we will gather at the labyrinth to the south west of the sanctuary building at 8:30 PM for a Full Moon Labyrinth Walk. There will be the opportunity to walk with a specific intention to answer a question or just to meditate.

The Full Moon this month is in Aquarius.

CCC normally meets in the Jefferson Building which is building "E" on the map. Drum Circle and Labyrinth walks meet South West (below) the Sanctuary which is which is building "A" beside the Labyrinth.

The master musician Tim Keene will facilitate this activity and will have spare drums so come join us and one of the premier musicians in San Antonio.

Celestial Celebrations Circle's request regarding permission to place a Demeter statue (to be designed and executed by Arline Terrell) near the sidewalk closest to the entrance to the labyrinth was approved by the Council. Yea, Arline! We can move ahead as quickly as we like with it!

Report to the Council from Celestial Celebrations Circle for March 2008

Planning meeting for March was held on March 4th.

We agreed to propose to the Officers of San Antonio Pagan Pride Day that we would like to offer to lead the closing ritual. The date of SAPPD 2008 is September 13th. Maggi subsequently put forward the offer to them.

FUUCSA Council Meeting Report Feb. 13, 2008

Every Council and Board member is asked to support the Wild West, Casino, and Auction fund raiser scheduled for April 5th by supplying one box of Costco or Sams hors d'oeuvres or providing equivalent home-made finger foods or a cash donation to purchase same. This is to be a major fund raiser for the church.

Notes from the Wednesday 9 January 2008 FUUCSA Council Meeting

Many people graciously offered assistance for our difficulties in accessing the Jefferson building classrooms. Discussions are ongoing but I expect a resolution before our next use of the Jefferson building. Thanks to all whom offered their help!

CCC November 2007 Council Report

We regret that neither of our representatives is available to attend this month's meeting.

October was a busy month for CCC.

We led a very well received Closing Ritual for San Antonio Pagan Pride Day. We also hosted a booth all day, speaking to many people and handing out our schedule of events. Dale also led a drumming workshop.

Celestial Celebrations Circle participates in the FUU and attends their council meetings.
